Local-first smart homes · Abu Dhabi

Your smart home should not stop when the internet does.

HomePilot connects compatible lights, sensors, curtains, locks, and routines through a local Zigbee and Z-Wave hub. Everyday automations stay inside your home instead of depending on a distant cloud.

The useful parts of your smart home should live in your home.

When the internet is unavailable, compatible local devices and automations can continue through your hub and Zigbee or Z-Wave mesh. Remote app access, cloud voice assistants, and cloud notifications may pause until the connection returns.

01

It works locally.

Your core routines run on a hub inside the home, so an internet outage does not have to stop everyday control.

  • Zigbee and Z-Wave mesh devices
  • Local scenes and schedules
  • Normal wall controls still work
02

It stays yours.

Compatible automation and security functions run inside your property, with credentials and configuration in your name.

  • 30–90 day local retention
  • No open internet ports
  • Credentials in your name
03

It stays maintained.

We monitor system health—not private activity—so hubs, devices, mesh quality, storage, and integrations stay reliable.

  • Proactive health alerts
  • Twice-yearly site care
  • Named technical support

Reliable automation starts with the right network.

We survey wall construction, device locations, interference, and the routes between rooms before specifying hardware. Mains-powered Zigbee and Z-Wave devices can strengthen the mesh as repeaters.

Every package is scoped after a paid site survey and commissioned against a written test plan.

Maintenance,
not a paywall.

You own the equipment, the software, and every second of footage. If you stop CARE, nothing turns off. CARE is the human work of keeping the system healthy.

Ask about CARE
✓
Proactive health monitoring

Hub uptime, device reachability, mesh quality, storage, and integrations—never private camera footage.

✓
Two scheduled visits each year

Sensor checks, device testing, configuration review, and complete system verification.

✓
Priority technical response

Four-working-hour remote response and defined on-site targets for total and partial faults.

✓
Updates and tuning

Tested firmware updates plus annual configuration time as your family’s routines change.

No box jobs. Every system is proven.

The commissioning test matters as much as the hardware. We disconnect the internet before handover and prove which controls and automations continue locally.

  1. 01

    Qualify

A short call confirms the property, priorities, existing equipment, and connectivity.

  2. 02

    Survey

A site visit maps rooms, wall construction, device locations, cable routes, and mesh coverage.

  3. 03

    Design

You receive a fixed-scope design with devices, local routines, integrations, and options.

  4. 04

    Install

The hub, network, switches, sensors, locks, and scenes are installed to one documented standard.

  5. 05

    Prove

Every control is tested, the internet is disconnected, and the local result is demonstrated at handover.

If we disappear tomorrow, your system keeps working.

Open protocols. Documented configuration. Credentials in your name. No feature held behind a subscription. HomePilot earns the relationship by maintaining the system—not by trapping you inside it.

  • 01 Footage stays on your property
  • 02 Remote access without open ports
  • 03 Complete digital as-built handover
  • 04 Commercial compliance through accredited partners where required

Before you invite us over.

Will the system work during a power cut?

Not unless the hub, router, and relevant devices have backup power. HomePilot’s local-first design is for internet outages; it does not replace an electrical backup system.

Can you see my camera footage?

Not by default. CARE monitors equipment telemetry such as hub uptime, device reachability, storage health, and mesh quality—not footage. Any temporary support access is explicit and controlled.

What happens when the internet is down?

Compatible local controls, sensors, schedules, and scenes continue through the hub and Zigbee or Z-Wave mesh. Remote app access, cloud voice control, and cloud notifications may pause until the connection returns.

Do I need a monthly subscription?

No subscription is required to use your equipment or view your footage. CARE is an optional maintenance plan for monitoring, visits, priority response, updates, and tuning.

Are the listed prices final?

They are indicative ranges for a defined property envelope. After the site survey, you receive a fixed scope, clear variations, and an itemised design pack before committing.

Let’s design the system your house should have had from day one.

Tell us what you want to control, which routines matter, and what should keep working if the internet is unavailable.
